AUG Day 4 Highlights

The second last day of competition was a great one for Monash. With most of our teams involved in semi finals, we're looking on track to take home quite a few medals tomorrow.

Our Men's AFL team have had one of their best years in history at the AUGs. After coming 8th last year, the team won every one of their pool games to finish first in their section of the draw capping off their perfect start to the tournament. Their pool games included beating The University of New South Wales (UNSW) 104-1 and Melbourne University 21-10.

Our guys made it to the semi-finals and are playing off for the Bronze Medal tomorrow against RMIT. Good luck Boys!

Our Women's Badminton team won their semi-final today, beating Melbourne University 247-180. The girls are still undefeated for the whole tournament, and are looking forward to playing in the Gold Medal game tomorrow against Macquarie University. Having already played Macquarie in the pool stages earlier in the week and won 197-188, they are a very good chance to bring home the Gold.

Monash's Finals

We have 8 teams who have won their semi-finals and are competing tomorrow for Gold Medals: Women's Netball, Men's Hockey, Women's Badminton, Men's Futsal, Men's Squash, Women's Squash, Men's Tennis, and Men's Volleyball.

We have 12 teams who have played their semi-finals already and are competing tomorrow for Bronze Medals: Baseball, Mixed Netball, Men's AFL, Women's AFL, Men's Badminton, Men's Basketball, Women's Hockey, Men's Soccer, T20 Cricket, Ten Pin Bowling, Men's Beach Volleyball, and Women's Volleyball.

We also have The Lawn Bowls team who still have to play their semi final tomorrow, however after only losing one game on the way to the semi-finals they are looking promising to make it to the Gold medal match later in the day.

With a minimum of 8 Gold Medals and 12 Bronze's Medals up for grabs for Monash teams tomorrow, we're in for an exciting day! Go TeamMONASH!
